Only the tank passive is left. Tanks have 150 more health in modes with Role Queue, and whoever damages or heals a tank gets 40% less ult charge for it.
The damage passive was removed. What it did now applies to every hero: damage cuts the healing the target gets in combat by 30%; for tanks Blizzard lists 15%.
In the same patch every hero was given a subrole within its role. Each subrole has its own passive, and Blizzard said it may move heroes or add subroles later.
Your movement abilities are ready sooner: 0.75% of the damage comes off their cooldowns whenever you land a critical hit. Blizzard’s example: one Hanzo headshot brings Lunge back 1.875 seconds sooner.
Ten subroles introduced. Initiator healed 75 over 1 second after 0.8 seconds in the air; Bruiser’s speed bonus needed critical health; Recon revealed for 5 seconds; Flanker gave 75 extra health; Medic returned 25% of weapon healing.
Medic 25% → 40%. Bruiser now works below 50% health. Initiator does nothing at full health any more, 75 → 60. Hazard switches from Stalwart to Initiator.
Damage: reload bonus removed; instead damage lowers the target’s received healing by 20% for 2 seconds. Support: waits only half as long before regenerating (2.5 seconds).
